NASCAR Fantasy Auto Racing

OVERVIEW:

You will become a multi-car team owner.  You'll have $200 in imaginary 'Dream Team Fantasy Dollars' to build a team of drivers from the 2005 Driver Price List.  You can have up to 15 drivers (and as few as you wish) on your team.  Click here to view the driver price list.  The number of drivers you choose at signup will be the number of drivers on your team the entire season!

Dream Team Racing 2005 will be divided into two separate Challenges - Spring and Fall.  Each challenge is 18 races long, and cash prizes will be paid out at the end of each challenge.  At the conclusion of the Spring Challenge, prizes will be paid and a new contest (with all new teams) will begin for the Fall Challenge.

Players will have TEN TRADES per season, to be used at any time over the 18-race period.  Click here for more info on trading.

Your drivers are scored over the course of the contest based on the Dream Team Fantasy Racing scoring method.  Click here for more info on driver scoring.

HOW TO ENTER:

To become an owner, simply sign up using our online form.  You'll enter your team name, info, and you'll pick your initial team of drivers for the Spring 2005 Challenge.

We'll send you an email immediately (after we've checked your picks and entered them in the Dream Team Fantasy Racing player register).  Once we confirm your entry fee, you're ready to race!

Each challenge costs $49 to play.  Sign up at the beginning of the year for both challenges for just $89 - save $10!

DRIVER PRICES:

The driver prices are actually their previous year's point totals using the Dream Team Fantasy Racing scoring method.  Your job is to pick drivers that you think will perform better than they did last season.

Driver prices are not adjusted during the contest based on their performance.  They remain the same throughout, leaving the decision of which drivers are the best value completely up to your knowledge and opinion.

DRIVER TRADING:

You will be allowed to make a total of TEN TRADES during any particular challenge (18-race period).  You may use your trades at any time.

Every trade must be a single one-for-one swap, but you never lose team value by trading for a driver lower in price on the price list.  That balance may be used in another trade.

Trading is allowed up until the start of qualifying for each weekends race!

DRIVER SCORING:

Drivers are scored as follows: 

Nextel Cup non-points events do not count toward Dream Team Fantasy Racing scoring.  Point Standings are usually updated immediately following every race, and by Tuesday evening at the latest.
