How
trading works - in a nutshell
Basically,
a trade will be a one-for-one swap. You'll select
a driver you want to drop, and pick a driver from the 2005
price list of
equal or lesser value to replace him,
but you never lose team value by trading for a driver
lower in price on the price list. That balance may
be used in another trade!
[EXAMPLE:
If you want to drop Ryan Newman ($80) from your team,
you can pick up Kevin Harvick ($33), Johnny Benson
($24), Mark Martin ($74), or any other driver lower on
the price list. The remaining balance, or money
saved, may be used in a future trade!
Multi-driver
trading
Not
in this league. You can't drop Rusty Wallace and
use his $49 value to pick up two, three or more drivers
totaling $46. And you can't do the reverse - drop
multiple drivers from your team and use their combined
value to pick up a higher driver. Every driver
trade is a one for one swap!
When
is the trade deadline before a race?
The
trade deadline for each race will be the start of
qualifying. If you want a driver active for the
weekend, make sure you submit the trade BEFORE
qualifying begins.
